Sami Yusuf has arrived!!!

63The internationally renowned Muslim singer and composer, Sami Yusuf, is about to make his debut performance in Guyana and people of all ages are excited.
The artiste arrived in Guyana last evening and will be part of a number of events planned for the next few hours before he takes to the stage on Saturday evening.
The concert which is billed for September 28 will see Sami, who has sold over 15 million albums worldwide, performing some of his spiritual and meaningful lyrics and his interpretation of the current state of the world.
Best known for the singles “Al-Mu’Allim”, “Mother”, Asma Allah”, “Ya Mustafa” and “Allahu” the 32-year-old was named Islam’s biggest Rock Star by Time Magazine and King of Islamic Pop by Aljazeera.
Yusuf produced his fourth and latest album “Salaam” in 2012, which continues to spread love, peace and unity. He has performed in numerous countries across the world, including: the United States, Canada, France, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Denmark, Greece, Germany, Netherlands, Bosnia, Turkey and the MENA region.
General admission cost $2500 and children will pay $1500 while Gold adult tickets cost $5000 and children $3500. Platinum tickets cost $20,000 and Limited Royal seating available for $30,000.
Tickets are already available on the West Coast of Demerara (WCD) and in Georgetown at the following locations: CIOG Office Woolford Avenue, Thomas Lands, Georgetown; Gulzar Namdar at 76 Meten-Meer-Zorg, WCD; Ashraf Allie – Parika Outfall, WCD; Imran Hussain (Wolf Furniture Store) – Leonora Public Road and Roy Hussain Discount Store – Vreed-en-Hoop Stelling.
Tickets locations on the East Coast of Demerara (ECD) include Imran Khan and Daughters Hardware Store – Mon Repos; Z Mohamed and Son Trading – Felicity, ECD and Curies General Store – 8 Dundee Mahaicony, ECD.
Berbice ticket locations are Imran and Son/Imran and Daughter (Rose Hall town); A Ally and Sons (New Amsterdam, Corriverton, Grove) and Madina Store – 6 D Bush Lot, West Coast Berbice.
